Raising awareness about Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) is vital for building a culture that supports creativity and innovation across the country. One of the primary focus areas is school children, as it is important to encourage imaginative thinking and innovation from an early age.
Intellectual Property refers to creations born out of a person’s intellect, imagination, effort, and talent. It begins with an idea that takes shape through creative expression.
There’s no age limit to creating Intellectual Property. Whether you're writing a poem, working on a school project, or creating original artwork, you're already generating your own Intellectual Property!

How Does It Work?
The campaign features a one-hour interactive session led by experts, complete with an engaging presentation designed to make learning about Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) fun and memorable. The session includes games and activities that capture students’ interest while educating them about the importance of IP.
To enhance the experience, eye-catching posters showcasing different types of IP are displayed around the venue. Each student also receives a colorful, kid-friendly brochure on IP. And to make the day even more special, every participant is given a surprise memento to take home.
What Has Been Achieved?
The first-of-its-kind IPR Awareness Campaign for schools was launched in New Delhi on April 25, 2017, in partnership with the International Trademark Association (INTA). Since then, we’ve reached and educated over 1,000 students directly about Intellectual Property Rights and the numbers continue to grow!
It's just the beginning. It's time to THINK, CREATE, and INSPIRE!
