About Divya Srinivasan
Divya is an IPR Advocate and works as the Assistant Manager in CIPAM’s Legal Team. She developed an initial liking and eventually a long-lasting passion for Intellectual Property, during her graduation in law, which she completed from University of Petroleum & Energy Studies, Dehradun, in 2014. She went on to complete her post-graduation in law specializing in IPR from National Law University, Jodhpur, in 2015.
Subsequently, she started her work stint with a boutique IP law firm in Delhi where she was working with the Trademark & Copyright Prosecution Department as well as the Publications Department. To this date, she has authored as well as co-authored almost 20 national and international publications, including India Business Law Journal, China Business Law Journal, Patent Lawyer Magazine, Re-solution Newsletters, Mondaq, etc. Her work in CIPAM involves legal advisory on IPR laws
and policies in India and abroad. An avid writer, she frequently contributes to CIPAM’s blog page.
A cross cultural genesis, she is trained in Bharatanatyam dance and Carnatic music,and can fluently speak Marathi, Tamil and Kannada. She is a sworn foodie, music aficionado and a bibliophile, in that order.
